Adult Catechesis & Formation  

“In order that the parish may succeed in activating effectively the mission of evangelization … 
Adult catechesis must be given priority.” (General Directory for Catechesis, no. 258)

Three major goals guide and direct parish efforts to make fruitful adult faith formation:

• Invite and enable ongoing conversion to Jesus in Holiness of life
• Promote and support active membership in Christian community
• Call and prepare adult leaders to act as disciples in mission to the world
