Remembering to honor the Sabbath is not a chore, but rather a gift from God. When we Sabbath, we REST from our labors so we can better CELEBRATE what God has done for us. We remember who we are in relation to who God is. We take time each Sunday to reconnect with God and each other (most especially by renewing our covenant with God in Mass). In times like this, where we cannot celebrate the Eucharist in person, we can pray in other ways to keep the Lord's Day.
CELEBRATE: Sign up for Mass at your parish, watch Mass Live. HERE are some tips.

Make a Spiritual Communion:
My Jesus,
I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.
Amen.

Take time to rest from our labors. Play some board games or some four-square, go on a walk, take a nap, go through a photo album, or cook grandma's cookie recipe. Disconnect from screens and engage with your spouse and children. When we don't work, it's an act of faith that our trust is in the Lord. We don't work to earn money, but entrust livelihood to our heavenly Father who cares for us. If God took a break when he created everything, surely we can pause our busy lives.
